CAVALRY HORSES WANTED.

Captain Page and Mr J R Henry, authorised officers of the Defence Department, will be in attendance at Newstead on Thursday 23rd November, from 11 am to 5 pm to purchase suitable horses of the undermentioned types for the Expeditionary Forces - CAVALRY HORSES -  Well bred, active horses with short backs, good rein and shoulder, deep girth and chest, height 15 to 15.3 hds, capable of carrying 16 stone, age, rising 5 to 8 years. The horses selected must of necessity be broken in, as they are required for immediate use. COLOUR - Duns or odd color horses will not be accepted.
Terms - Cash immediately purchases are effected.
